Filip Pintelon to represent Capricorn on the board of iSTAR Medical

Following the strategic alliance announcement with AbbVie (see our press release of July 20), iSTAR Medical is now quickly preparing for its international expansion, and the scaling of its operations. As we are constantly striving to support our portfolio companies with the best possible expertise, Capricorn Partners has decided to take a next step in its board involvement, having Filip Pintelon represent Capricorn Health-tech Fund on the iSTAR Medical Board.

Filip brings close to 30 years of experience in growth investments, strategic pivots, and international business scaling. At Barco, Filip led the Healthcare division, involving global operations, extensive partnering with global Healthtech companies, and rapid scaling in a medical regulated environment. He also has extensive board experience, allowing him to quickly take up a board role with a high-growth and fast paced company like iSTAR Medical. Prior to Barco, Filip held leadership positions with Accenture, Boston Consulting Group, and Siemens.
