Revolutionizing zeolite catalyst performance
Zeopore, a spin-out from the University of Leuven, has developed a toolbox which is able to tune the amount, size and interconnectivity of mesopores in zeolites (catalysts for conversion processes), ensuring optimal settings for specific zeolite, feedstock and application combinations.
Zeopore’s technology results in highly accessible mesoporous zeolites, with a direct increase in stability and selectivity in zeolite applications, such as plastics recycling and the production and conversion of bio-renewables. As resources are more efficiently used in these processes, resulting in a reduced environmental footprint.
