Brigitte de Vet-Veithen proposed as director of Quest for Growth

The management board of Quest for Growth proposes to appoint Ms Brigitte de Vet-Veithen as independent director of Quest for Growth. This proposal will be submitted for approval to the general meeting on 31 March 2022 and is subject to approval by the FSMA. The proposed term of office will run for a period of three years until immediately after the end of the ordinary general meeting in March 2025.

Brigitte de Vet-Veithen has been Vice President of Materialise since June 2016, representing De Vet Management bvba, and heads Materialise Medical. Ms de Vet-Veithen has 25 years of experience in the technology sector, especially in healthcare and life sciences. Prior to joining Materialise, she held several executive positions, including Chief Executive Officer of the Acertys Group, a provider of medical equipment, software, services and supplies to hospitals and medical professionals. She started her career in consulting and subsequently held various management positions at Johnson & Johnson and was Vice President for the EMEA region of Cordis Neurovascular and General Manager of Cordis in Germany. Ms de Vet-Veithen holds a Master of Business Administration with a major in Engineering from HEC Liege and an MBA from INSEAD.

Brigitte de Vet-Veithen is being proposed to replace Lieve Verplancke, who will no longer be standing for election as a director, following the expiry of her current term of office on 31 March 2022. The board of directors wishes to thank Ms Verplancke for the past years of service as a director.
